Product manager with seventeen years across the Linux and cloud ecosystem, now building and shipping a consumer product end to end. At Oracle I delivered kernel performance gains behind world-record benchmarks and shaped roadmaps across OS management, automation and cloud-native platforms. I have been the sole code owner of the LIFX integration in Home Assistant core since 2022, and I maintain two of the three Python libraries it depends on. In 2026 I designed, built and released Colour Within, a unique colour-by-numbers iPad app on the App Store.
Colour Within
Founder & Product Lead · February 2026 – present
A colour-by-numbers iPad app for adults, free on the App Store with an optional ad-free subscription. I own every function: product strategy and design, native iOS and Python backend engineering, the artwork pipeline, cloud infrastructure, brand and go-to-market.
- Shipped to the App Store within five months of the first line of code. Rebuilt the client natively in Swift and Metal after a Flutter implementation could not render real artwork responsively, then built the rest of the stack solo: a Python 3.14 FastAPI backend and a Tauri desktop authoring tool.
- Scaled artwork production from hand-made one-offs to an automated pipeline, pairing generative AI art with a fourteen-stage OpenCV and vectorisation pipeline. Over 300 bundles published from a bank of 2,355 subjects.
- Lifted the artwork publish rate past 90% with calibrated per-region quality signals and vision-model checks at the generation stage, which let the final review gate be retired entirely.
- Scheduled daily releases against more than 25 religious and secular observances worldwide, with category rotation and no-repeat rules.
- Secured early acceptance of the Colour Within trade mark from IP Australia and ran go-to-market single-handedly.
